NettetIn our experience of managing 13 patients with Boerhaave's syndrome, one male patient was diagnosed to have a localized rupture (diagnosed 2 days after negative laparotomy for suspected perforated duodenal ulcer) and was treated successfully using conservative management (Figure 1).
