The first is self explainable, and fallout 4gb just changes the game to use 4gb of ram instead of two. This helps to prevent crashes caused by too much memory being used. Of course, this is all assuming you're playing on pc.

It's gone, containers respawn (and empty everything out in the process) after 3 in-game days. That wasn't a safe container, so everything you put in it is gone.
